Steven Seril is a 7x award-winning author, a 9x gold-medalist in the sport of powerlifting (including a World Cup victory), a 2x champion in American football (as a coach & player), a former White House invite, an educator of 14 years, and a custodian.

Seril is married to Diana Mavlanova, a registered nurse and actress from Turkmenistan. Their romantic story garnered substantial media attention, being featured by every major news outlet in the state of Utah. His wife presented the challenge that either he would become successful with his 20+ year book project and buy a house or they would have to move to California.
